Ok, I have never seen this problem in any previous version of quicken
(and I go back to the DOS days).

I have a temporary category ('TBD') that I use for downloading my
transaction nightly (to catch CC fraud quickly), then at the end of
the week I will gather the receipts and enter the split data for the
weeks worth of TBD transactions.

So, here is how I do it:
1) Click 'Catagories' button. (in 2005 it's REALLY slow to appear).
2) Scroll down to the TBD category, select it, click report.
3) The Cat list minimizes and the report appears.
4) I close the cat list
5) in the report, I double click an entry. This minimizes the report
and takes me to the TBD transaction.
6) I fill in the split information from the receipt
7) I maximize the report.
8) The report updates.
9) Go to #5 until all TBD categories are gone.

I have done this for years. Never a problem.

Now with 2005, things are different. #8 takes longer for one. #1
takes A LOT longer. And if I leave that window open (but minimized)
it really slows the system even though I never ues it.

The biggest problem is that very very often (not always though) #8
will crash quicken. It doesn't matter if the report is long or just 1
item, it crashes when the report maximizes and begins to update.

Any thoghts? Any one else experiance this?

Thanks
